This Little Lady Went To Market -- Part 3

This Little Lady went to Quilt Market

to see what she could see.

There were lots of fabrics

all around

but

nothing could replace the smiling

 faces that she found:

Natalia Bonner of Piece & Quilt

Sherri of A Quilting Life and Vanessa of V and Co.

Barb and Nancy of Me and My Sister along with

Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.

Vickie, Me, Sherri, and Victoria of Bumble Beans Inc.

Oh the memories,

This Little Lady Went To Market--Part 2

This Little Lady went to

Quilt Market to see what she could see.

Up and down

and all around

the finest quilt fabrics were to be found.

Her heart went

pitter patter

when she saw

Lori Holt's "Sew Cherry" fabric line for Riley Blake.

(Sew Cherry is just sooo very...yummy! Yes you must have it!)

This Little Lady spotted another

that made her heart

sing with glee:

This Little Lady loves to look at color,

so her heart went a flutter

when she found

the most beautiful Kona Cotton Solids

in the Robert Kaufman booth.

(Vickie Eapen of Spun Sugar & I at the Kaufman booth)

This Little Lady squealed with glee

when she looked

and saw the photo hanging in their booth.

Ohhh the treasures...the fabric.. and the fun

still a few more to come!

This Little Lady Went To Market

This Little Lady went to market....

that is International Quilt Market

in Salt Lake City, Utah,

to see what she could see.

(Well, this Little Lady ALMOST didn't make it

to market

because a "Not-So-Little" Little Person

got pneumonia.

Long story for another day)

Anyway, back to the story at hand:

She went to Quilt Market

to see the finest quilt fabrics in the land.

She skipped down the aisles

and shouted with glee,

when what did she spy.....

but the land of happily..... MODA.

A country fair is what you will see:

and a Bake Shop filled with

delicious treats:

a new book for all to love:

and a new favorite designer:

Cosmo Cricket with

a new fabric line Circa 1934

With loves of favorites in mind,

this Little Lady

 twirled around

& around

until she landed

in another part of town

(Quilt Market that is...)

So stick around to see

what else is to be found.....

Until Next Time... Happy Quilting!

Ode To The Jelly Roll

Everyone knows that

the possibilites

for a Jelly Roll

are endless.

However,

my "not-so-little" Little Person

came up with this idea:

Yep, I bet that you never knew

that a Jelly Roll

could become a

Hot Wheel Car Launcher!

A Closer Look

As promised ,
here is a closer look
at my Xcellence quilt
that was featured in Quilter's Home Magazine.

I used Camille's Bliss fabric line for Moda
to make my quilt.
Of course, the beautiful RED prints
caught my eye.

In fact, I added a few solids into the quilt
just to give it a
"Little Lady" personal touch.

Now my Xcellence quilt

lives on my bed.

Pssst....I ever redecorated my bedroom around

this quilt.

Here is one last photo of the quilt:

Yep that is my "not-so" Little Person

running in the background.

(More on that later)
